Motel Policies

 

 

  • The Registrant is responsible for all registered guests to a room. Room occupancy is limited to registered guests only. If we discover any unauthorized visitors or undeclared occupants in your motel room, we will ask you to leave the premises immediately and there will be no refunds. Our visitor policy is designed to provide a safe and quiet atmosphere for all of our guests. Unless you tell us otherwise, we assume that you are not expecting guests and do not wish to have guests unless you tell us in advance. 

 

  • The recent Colorado law permitting recreational marijuana use does not apply to this private business.  It is illegal to use marijuana in public.  

 

  • Guest may see accommodation before checking-in (not after 9pm).  Once checked in NO MONIES can be returned or refunded. 

 

  • Rates, terms and availability are subject to change without notice.   

 

  • Payment is due on arrival.  NO CHECKS are accepted.  Payment may be made with cash, traveler's check or with credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express). 

 

  • Check In -  After 3:00 PM on the date of arrival up till 9PM, unless other arrangements have been made with the motel office.  A physical credit card and ID are required to check-in. If not available, you will not be able to check-in.  Early check-in MAY be available for an additional charge. 

 

  • Check Out - 11:00 AM (All late check out must be fully authorized by our management, additional charge may be applied). Late check-out MAY be available for an additional charge.

  • Late-Arrivals -  Please note late arrivals (pass 10pm mountain time summer/fall (May thru November and 9pm winter/spring time December thru April) must make prior arrangements with the office.  Remember we are a small business located in a small town where during certain times of the year it is very slow in the area.    

 

  • Cancellations -   Reservations must be cancelled with no fee 48 hours before 3:00 pm of date of arrival. If you do not call to cancel before 3pm two calendar days before your reservation, you will be charged the cost of the 1st night and any remaining nights of the stay will be cancelled. PLEASE NOTE for special events (ie - Hunting Season, Cherry Days, Mountain Harvest Festival, BMW Rally,  Reunions, etc . . . ) cancellation time is a week prior to the date of arrival. PLEASE NOTE for WEDDINGS & BIG EVENTS such as cycling events cancellation time is ONE MONTH prior to the date of arrival.   

  

  • Pet Policy - Dogs allowed for a $15.00 charge per pet per visit.   Certain pet breeds and the number of pets are restricted by management. All pets staying at Redwood Arms Motel must be pre-approved before arrival. If we discover any unauthorized pets or animals in your motel room, you will be charged and we will ask you to leave the premises immediately and there will be no refunds.  Due to safety concerns for our employees and your pet, we will not service a room with an unattended pet.  Pets must be on a leash or securely carried outside of guest rooms and under control at all times.  Please be considerate of other guests when walking pets on the property and clean up after your pet.  Pet related damages will result in a $275.00 Pet Clean Up Fee. 

 

  • If you are booking on behalf of someone and/or are a travel agent, we DO NOT due hotel commissions. 

 

  • Computer/Web Page Printouts $2.00 per page, and LOST KEY(S) $15.00 per key plus tax.  Mailing left items is the cost of the shipping plus $10.00 for handling.

 

  • All rooms are Non-Smoking rooms.  Smoking  (cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, etc . . ) in a non-smoking room will result in a $250.00 Clean Up Fee.

 

  • Noise Ordinance - we request you be courteous and keep the noise down after 10:00 PM.  Any noise complaints received,  we will ask to leave without a refund.

RV Park Rules

Welcome to the Redwood Arms RV Park! We appreciate your patronage. 

 

Our goal is for everyone to enjoy their stay.  Below are our rules and/regulations, and we asked that you follow them to ensure a positive experience for all our guests.

​

  • Our quiet time is from 11 p.m. - 8 a.m. daily, but please be courteous to your fellow guests during all hours of the day. During quiet hours, there is no loud talking, loud radios, loud televisions, or other loud noises allowed. The use of generators are not permitted on the property. We do enforce a curfew - anyone under 18 years of age may not leave their site or rental after 11 p.m. unless it is to and from restroom facilities accompanied by an adult.

  • Check in for RV is between 2pm – 9pm.  No late check-ins please.

​

  • Only one well-behaved dog is welcomed per site.  Dog must remain on a leash at all times, no exceptions.  Owners must pick up after their dog while on the premises.  An unattended dog are not allowed.

​

  • All reservations include a maximum of 4 guests unless otherwise stated. Rates are based on the maximum occupancy of the site. The individual reserving the site must be a minimum of 18 years of age and be physically present at the time of check in.

​

  • Campers are responsible for their visitors. Visitors may NOT stay overnight. 

​

  • One vehicle, inclusive of one RV, are included with each reservation as determined by Management and as space allows. Additional vehicles are $5 per day and subject to availability of parking in designated areas. Towing is enforced at the guest’s expense. All guests must stay within the property boundaries. No trespassing on neighboring land is permitted.

​

  • All certified RV types are permitted unless prevented by specific site constraints.

​

  • No repairs or maintenance of RV or guest’s vehicles and/or other motorized vehicles is allowed at the site.

​

  • No trash is to be left outside at any time.  Trash must be disposed into designated containers located throughout the premises.  Sites must be cleaned up of garbage and debris prior to departure. Additional charges may result for sites requiring additional cleaning. Excess garbage is subject to additional fees. 

​

  • Do not throw trash and/or cigarette butts on the ground. 

​

  • Do not throw hot grease and chemicals on the ground, grass, and/or down the drain. 

​

  • No littering.

​

  • Speed limit is 5 mph on the premises. 

​

  • The use of fireworks, including sparklers and explosives of any kind, are not permitted under any circumstances. Anyone caught with fireworks may result in removal from the property without a refund.

​

  • Do not move any picnic tables from sites. 

​

  • No on ground wood campfires are allowed.  Portable propane sourced campfires enclosed in manufactured firepits are allowed unless there is a fire ban and must supervised by an adult while in use.  Please ask before use of portable propane sourced campfires. 

​

  • All visitors must be registered at the office.  Again no overnight stay are permitted for visitors.   

​

  • We are not responsible for accidents or injury to our guests, or for loss of any valuables or personal property.  

​

  • Life threatening emergencies and/or injuries, dial 9-1-1 and provide your site number. Non-life threatening please see the office and/or call the number posted.

​

Special accommodations will be considered on a case-by-case bases.  When in doubt about the rules and/regulations please inquire with Management before booking a site.
